We are very excited to announce that Donna Miles has been appointed to the role of Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Over her nearly 20-year tenure with the Halton Children’s Aid Society, Donna has positively contributed to advancing the Society’s strategic initiatives and we look forward to welcoming her to the Leadership Team.
Donna joined the management team as a Supervisor in 2004 and began her role leading our work in anti-oppressive practice in 2012. Donna has consistently focused her efforts on advocating for the needs of those who have been oppressed and ensuring they are provided the opportunity to thrive.
Donna’s thoughtful and passionate approach to her work has allowed the Society to make foundational steps on our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion journey and to build and nurture relationships with key partners. We are fortunate to have Donna’s contribution to leading our organization.
